Entrepreneur & Ordinary Super-mom
I hold a Bachelor of Social Science and am an Entrepreneur with extensive experience in marketing management and key account relationship management. I am currently the owner of a small clothing line and prior to this, I worked within the events management space. I founded and run a passion project called: “Hello Miss Amazing” which is a ‘safe space’ for women to gather, chat and lunch while tackling matters of the heart, including mental health matters.
I love people upliftment and out-reach. I love inspiring hope and spreading love as far and as wide as I can. Through various means and community collaborations I’ve hosted grooming and skills training sessions for previously disadvantaged women. I partnered with a retired teacher to run extra English and Maths classes for school-going kids of various ages to improve their performance in school.
I’m a self-starter. My motivations, thinking and way of life are inspired by my constant pursuit of knowledge and wisdom and deeply rooted in faith. I am also a wife to an incredibly compassionate, hardworking man and a proud mother of two colourful individuals. The presence of these three humans in my life has shifted and transformed me in the most beautifully unimaginable ways.

He returned to South Africa to continue his studies in an Honors (cum laude) in Medicinal Plant Science where he investigated South African plants that may have sedative and anxiolytic activity. He then moved to Stellenbosch University to pursue his MSc in Botany, investigating the medicinally important plant genus, Sceletium. The study aimed to investigate the chemical and genetic diversity of plants that may assist with mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. The MSc was upgraded to a PhD, which he is currently completing. He has won multiple local and international awards for science communication.
